Paris—often called the City of Lights (or even the City of Love)—has a magical allure that truly captivates. While some might call it overrated, I completely disagree. There’s nothing quite like watching the Eiffel Tower light up the night sky!
If you’re reading this, you’re probably planning your own Paris adventure, so I won’t try to convince you any further. Instead, I’ve put together a detailed itinerary for a three-day stay in Paris, outlining the best places to lodge, and a day-by-day guide to exploring the city.
So, how do you pack in the main sights without overloading yourself? This itinerary is designed to help you experience the best of Paris without feeling rushed. In just three days, you’ll hit all the must-see spots while still leaving time to soak in the charm of the city. Where To Stay In Paris

During our 2025 trip to Paris, we stayed at Hotel 7 Eiffel, a boutique hotel tucked away on a quiet street in the 7th arrondissement. The location was fantastic—just a short walk from the La Tour-Maubourg metro station and a taxi stand, making it super easy to get around the city.
The 7th arrondissement is one of my favorite areas to stay in Paris. It’s elegant, safe, and full of charming cafés, local bakeries, and beautiful streets to wander. Plus, you’re close to major sights like the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, and the Seine, but without the overwhelming crowds of the more touristy districts. It’s the perfect mix of convenience and Parisian charm!

Getting Around Paris
Getting around Paris is easy, thanks to its well-connected public transport system. The Metro is the fastest way to travel, with 16 lines covering the entire city—just grab a Navigo Easy Pass or carnet of tickets for convenience. I love to explore Paris by metro, it’s super easy! There are also buses and trams which are great for scenic routes. Prefer something more flexible? Walking or biking is an amazing ways to explore Paris. For the comfort seeking travellers I would recommend Uber. It’s not very expensive.
Paris Pass vs. Go City Paris Pass: Which One to Choose?
If you want to make the most of your trip to Paris, there are two great sightseeing passes to consider:
✅ The Paris Pass – Grants access to 45+ attractions, including the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Seine River Cruise, and more. You can pick 3-7 activities and save up to 50% while skipping long lines.
✅ Go City’s Paris Pass® – An all-inclusive pass that gives you entry to 90+ top attractions, including the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and guided tours, plus the Paris Museum Pass bundle for even more savings.
Both passes help you save money and skip the queues, but if you plan to visit multiple museums, Go City’s Paris Pass® might be the better choice. It all depends on how much sightseeing you want to fit into your trip!

After taking in the views, head to the Seine River for a relaxing cruise. This boat tour is a fantastic way to see Notre-Dame, the Louvre, Pont Alexandre III, and more—all from the water. We paired it with a delicious crepe near the Eiffel Tower, a must-try Parisian treat! Book tickets online since it’s a very popular activity.
